Midnight Fantasies

Our Faithful Mother

lying on the cool, prickly grass
analyzing a pattern in every cluster of stars
the stars are nice, but not beautiful

my mind wanders to a pretty place
nicer than stars and clouds and dreams
he is there, and she is there, and I am there
resting together in my mind's deepest fantasy

the twilight breeze tickles my face
and I reluctantly slip out of the serene coma

my eyes are forced open by an illumination from the sky
and the tiny, blank space in the corner of my heart changes colors

our round, white mother hangs faithfully amidst the shallow lights
the moon, our moon, outshines every star
no mother is as large, plain, or distant
but our moon knows neither size, beauty nor space

~she loves us unconditionally, and admires our every face~

A Place (my sad attempt at a haiku)

I know of a place
Where fantasies come alive
Soon, I will be there

(Hahaha. Wow, my haiku is awful. Why won't I just remove it? That little voice is telling me not to...)

HEY JUST AN OATMEAL,
I love the haiku!!!!!!
It seems simple, but that's the point of an haiku, so I don't know what you're spazzing out about..:/
I think I like the haiku better than the poem.
Also, your first poem, I love the beginning. I don't know..your beginnings are so fancy and like it totally captures the mood in like one stanza.
I wish I could do that..
LOVE YOUR PROFILE DESCRIPTION,
your fellow wizard.

You MUST continue your blog.
There are loyal readers out there, awaiting your post.
Timeliness isn't everything.
You can post as long as you want to, because there are those who would read it even 50 years later.
Because they know that if you don't post now, then what you post later will even be better because you improved within time.
I believe in you, Padfoot!!
